Library materials - And how to get them
I want a book or an article Find Search on the library homepage: Open Advanced and enter author/title information.
Found! Click on Request , and order to your favourite library location. Pick up the book (and sometimes article) at the library. Recieve (most) articles as attachment to a mail.
Found online! Open document from View material or Link to the material . Journal articles can be saved/printed. E-books can be borrowed for offline reading, but only partly printed/saved.
Found! But It says AU Research You have to check if the book, journal or report is registered elsewhere in the database. It says Only for use in library Request loan, or preferably visit the library. It says Missing Request loan, and/or suggest us to buy a new copy. It says Checked out Request loan, and/or suggest us to buy another copy.
Not found! If it is an article: Search for the journal/anthology title, instead of the article title. Go to bibliotek.dk Choose Expand search options and repeat search.
Found! Select and order to statsbiblioteket , with your user-ID and pincode. And pick up the material at your favourite library location
Not found! Return to the library homepage, and make a request for a loan from other libraries: Fill in an order form with the information you have and wait
Tip! To ensure a quick and secure ordering process, you can find the material you are looking for on www.worldcat.org and insert a link to the material in the order form.
Newspaper articles Can be found in different databases on Databaselisten : Infomedia All danish newspaper articles in full text since 1990. Factiva Newspaper articles in full text from more than 2.500 newspapers worldwide. More information about newspapers at the following address: http://library.au.dk/en/resources/newspapers/
