  1. A SEASON FOR CHANGE ENVISIONING TRANSFORMATIVE WRITING CENTRE LABOUR

  2. TERRITORIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  3. QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION How might our theories of effective tutoring need to change in order for tutors to work productively with student-writers composing in code meshed Englishes? How will we need to revise our preparatory and ongoing tutor education programmes to facilitate tutors work with student writers in a world in which such assignments and composing practices are becoming increasingly common? How might the difficult dialogues we have with student writers change as they begin to learn Other Englishes and to experiment in code meshing What work are we well positioned to do from our writing centres to help our colleagues and our institutions yield to writing like this? What prior knowledge might our current and aspiring tutors bring to our conversations about how to practice tutoring justly in a linguistically and rhetorically diverse world?
