Promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Resilience in the Andes of Peru
Juan Pablo Pineda Huamanahui, an experienced agricultural engineer and NGO coordinator, has been actively involved in sustainable agriculture projects in the Andes of Peru. His work focuses on promoting value chains for quinoa and avocado, strengthening organic production, and enhancing climate change resilience through agroecological practices. Through his initiatives, he has contributed to the economic empowerment of small farmers, restoration of mountain ecosystems, and adaptation to climate change in rural communities.
