Faith Community Church is a place where everything begins with the finished work of Jesus Christ. Their vision is to build a community rooted in faith, hope, and love in the Kingdom of God. Through ministering reconciliation and healing, the church aims to nurture faith in family, the Kingdom of God/Heaven, and the finished work of Christ. Join their mid-week Bible studies and events to grow spiritually and prepare for marriage. In light of current events, the church continues to follow government guidelines while trusting in the protection promised in Deuteronomy 7:15.

  24. There is incredible power and great potential in prayer. The God of the Universe is invited into a situation and into you. Prayer is a means of changing things, but even more prayer changes you. Through prayer, we have the opportunity to reach our full potential in Christ. The disciples said to Jesus, Lord, teach us to pray. As we take time to pray, we become more alive and more active with what God is doing. Prayer is a step that helps us grow spiritually. In prayer God reveals oneself, God moves mountains and God transform us into people of love, joy, and peace. WHY PRAY

  25. Thanks! is what we choose, since it is impossible to be truly thankful and discontent at the same moment. There are many circumstances that can shift our focus from God and wear us down: financial instability, physical ailments, illness, grief, loss, and the stress of our daily lives. THANKSGIVING PRAYER Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to you,Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Psalm 106:1 Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

  26. Remembering what God has done for us. Telling other about it. Showing God s glory to others. Offering gifts of ourselves, our time, and our resources. Prayers of Thanksgiving shifts our focus to good.

  27. Petition is making a meek and humble, earnest plea for a specific need for something significant requested of GOD. We may not recognize it but we often petition God by asking him to help, reveal, deliver us in different circumstances. PETITION PRAYER 1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, 1 John 5:15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

  28. Making a request Praying in faith Praying with humility Prayers of Petition/Supplication are done in faith acknowledging that God can help.

  29. The God of all power has given us power. We no longer have to fix our situations. We have God's power and authority available. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us. Luke 10:19, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. We have power and authority to impact a nation. We are called to pray, go, and serve. And we pray in His Name, with His power, authority and together, as his body. We are truly better together. Jesus taught us to pray this way and to live this way. Let s pray and bring glory to God! Let's pray because

  31. Matthew 21:12-17 NLT 12 Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out all the people buying and selling animals for sacrifice. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves. 13 He said to them, The Scriptures declare, My Temple will be called a house of prayer, but you have turned it into a den of thieves! 14 The blind and the lame came to him in the Temple, and he healed them. 15 The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, Praise God for the Son of David. But the leaders were indignant. 16 They asked Jesus, Do you hear what these children are saying? Yes, Jesus replied. Haven t you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, You have taught children and infants to give you praise. 17 Then he returned to Bethany, where he stayed overnight. S , respondi Jes s. Nunca has le do las Escrituras? Porque dicen: Has ense ado a los ni os y a los infantes a alabarte . 17 Luego regres a Betania, donde pas la noche.
