2. About the Lovers Lane Foundation Formed in 1981 to support Lovers Lane United Methodist Church and its ministries and members. The Foundation consists of more than 40 separate endowments, each benefiting a specific aspect of the Church or its ministries, including Youth Programs and Young Adult Activities, Music Ministries, Austin s Army, Facility Maintenance and Repairs, Communication and Technology Support, Several Lecture Series, Numerous Scholarships, Deaf Ministries, Benevolence -- to just mention a few. BUT THE IMPORTANT THING FOR THESE PURPOSES IS One of those Endowments is our Visual Arts Endowment, which underwrites the FULL cost of our ArtReach Gallery in Watson Hall at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.

3. About Faith Artists Faith Artists was founded by Kendra Walden 11 years ago. Kendra felt called to provide a venue for artists to communicate their faith through their artwork. The group consists of local artists from various backgrounds and churches. They have exhibited in arts centers, galleries, museums and churches throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Their foundation verse: As each one has received a special give, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold of God. 1 Peter 4:10

4. Faith Artists Mission To create visual art that glorifies God. To share truth in fresh ways. To promote visual arts with the body of Christ. To mainstream Biblically inspired art for the audience. If you are interested in purchasing a piece of artwork, please contact Paul Ditto, Executive Director of the Foundation at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church (LLUMC) at 214-706-9561 or email him at pditto@llumc.org For more information about the exhibit and how to purchase a piece go to foundation.llumc.org/faith-artists For all purchases the artist will receive 75% of the purchase price and 25% goes to the Visual Arts Endowment at the Lovers Lane Foundation to help fund future art exhibits. All purchased pieces must remain up with the exhibit until the end of the show (January 28). Sales tax must be added to all sales and if you cannot pick up your piece on January 28 and you want us to ship your purchased piece to you, we will get you an estimate of the shipping.

About the Visual Arts Committee here at LLUMC and the ArtReach Gallery We have a great group of volunteers here at Lovers Lane that serve on our Visual Arts Committee and they arrange for different exhibits to show in our ArtReach Gallery, usually on about a 60-90 day rotation, which often includes a meet the artist reception for our congregation and others.
