2. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor You are going to write a letter to your parent/guardian regarding the need for our upcoming required novel Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. Copy the following letter onto your own sheet of paper.

3. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor Dear Mom, Dad, Parental Unit, Guardian [pick ONLY one], I am writing this letter to let you know that on Monday, February 1st I will need a copy of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor for Mrs. Gingras ELA class.

4. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor Because the other 7thgrade ELA class will be reading this novel as well, it would be in my best interest to obtain this book sooner rather than later.
