This document introduces a CSK-based OCC V2X communication link design for heavy machinery management on construction sites. The proposed data link model aims to facilitate the use of light communication in monitoring, logistics, and scheduling processes. It offers concept models for Vehicular Assistant Technology (VAT) in construction areas, addressing the needs for optimal scheduling, accurate positioning, and effective information dissemination to heavy machinery vehicles. The CSK-based OCC solution presented enables data rates ranging from 1K to 1Mb/s, utilizing CSK-based LED patches/lamps for transmission and cameras on machinery for reception over distances exceeding 200m. Various modulation techniques and communication modes are also explored.
