Achievement of the Sector Plan The Sector Plan can be found at ; https://www.citb.co.uk/qualifications-standards/apprentice- frameworks/apprenticeship-frameworks-england/ The plan gives the details of standards in development, ready for delivery and issues. It is shared with the IfA to track how we are doing and identify any blockages. You are more than welcome to download from the web-site or check every month when it has been updated. This also links to the Training Specifications/Occupational Briefs for approved Standards.

  4. Higher Apprenticeships What is approved; Construction Site Engineering Technician (level 4) Building Services Engineering Technician (Level 4) Civil Engineering Site Management. (Level 6) Construction surveying technician L4 EPA: submitted in Jan, approved with conditions Construction quantity surveyor L6 EPA: submitted in Feb, currently undergoing review Construction site manager L6 EPA: submitted in Feb, currently undergoing review Construction site supervisor L4 EPA: submitted in Feb, currently undergoing review Construction design and build technician L4 EPA: submitted in Feb, currently undergoing review Construction design management L6: Standard and EPA are to be submitted in April together as some revisions are needed to the standard

  5. Moving Forward Framework Closures. Site Carpentry and Architectural Joinery Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3) consultation end of July 18 with pathways closed December 2018. Bricklaying (Level 2) Proposal to close pathway in July 2019 at Intermediate (Level 2) Advanced (level 3) keep open for a small period of time. All new starts on Level 2 July 2019 ? Plastering (Level 2) close Plastering at Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3) keep open for a small period of time All new starts July 2019 on Standards ? Painting and Decorating close pathway in July 2019 at Intermediate (Level 2) Advanced (level 3) keep open for a small period of time All new starts on Level 2 July 2019 ? Steelfixing Major Projects EPA Middle of April 2019 Lifting Technician in place with candidates on the new standard

  6. Moving Forward Framework Closures. Scaffolding Intermediate (Level 2) a view to close Scaffolding pathway in July 2019. A mix of starts on standards and frameworks Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative available Floorlayer (Level 2) available now Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom Fitter available under Furniture Manufacturer Fitted Furniture Installer ST0203 Wall and Floor Tiling

External Quality Assurance (EQA) What CITB are approved to EQA: Steelfixing Digital Engineering Technician Lifting Technician Carpenter and Joiner & Advanced Carpenter and Joiner Tunnelling Operative Bricklayer Plasterer Piling Attendant Construction Site Engineering Technician Building Services Engineering Technician Civil Engineering Site Management Scaffolding Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative

CSCS CITB when asked by the Employer Group will carryout a mapping of the new Standard and Assessment Plan as directed by the CLC when no NVQ is present in the Standard. 3 Principles will be used to assess whether it is equivalent to NOS. Full coverage of all competences set out in the appropriate NOS/RQS Assessment of these through naturally occurring workplace evidence by someone suitably qualified and experienced or through simulation in line with the CITB Consolidated Assessment Strategy Quality Assurance of this assessment by an independent , suitably qualified and experienced third party
