  4. Entering the classroom Handouts - pick up handouts on bellwork table Seated go directly to your assigned seat Bellwork work on assignment posted on the board 1. 2. 3.

  5. Attendance, absences, and tardies Attendance - the teacher will take during bellwork Absences the teacher will provide make up work, please do not ask for your work individually Tardies if you are not in the room when the final bell rings, you will go to a tardy table and get a pass

  6. Quieting the class The teacher will say, Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for listening, Listen up, or Are you ready? In some cases, teacher will also raise a finger. When you hear (or see) this signal, please stop what you are doing, look at the teacher, and listen for instructions. The class must be silent. 1. 2. 3.

  7. Dismissal Complete your work Clean your area Be seated When the bell rings, the teacher will dismiss the class Please push in your chair on your way out 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

  8. Collecting and returning papers Pass papers across the rows to the center of the room Turn in papers on the table under the clock Papers will be returned during bellwork

  9. Finishing work early Read Write a letter Draw Work on other homework Find a quiet, academic activity not sleeping or texting.

  10. Leaving your work area Leaving your seat - only when needed, no wandering Leaving the room - during work time with a signed planner You must have permission to leave the room

  13. Other We have procedures for doing lab work, taking notes, watching videos, going to library or writing lab, handling materials, working in groups, and participating in class discussions. We will go over these procedures as needed.

  14. Turning in an assignment 1. Complete and correct? 2. Name is neatly written on paper? 3. Paper is neat? 4. Properly stapled? 5. Turn in properly, follow the traffic flow.

No projectiles.
