COVID PROTOCOLS FOR RACERS Stay Masked whenever not racing, eating, or drinking Junior-only fields will race masked Vaccination or Negative PCR Test within 3 days of racing Physical distancing on the infield No team tents No sitting in groups/teams Bring a chair/blanket Stay home if you re experiencing any symptoms no season points are on the line. Will apply race entries to future races or provide refunds.

  4. COVID PROTOCOLS FOR NON-RACERS We are in this together! Our racers are going through the steps of vaccination or negative PCR tests, so we are asking our spectators to spread out and stay masked unless eating or drinking. Stay Masked whenever not eating, or drinking Physical distancing requirements Follow spacing requirements in the bleachers Only sit in household groups in the turns Stay back from the rail Beer Garden & Food Trucks are TBD at this point

  5. ONLINE PRE-REG Make a new account! Pre-reg closes 24 hours before (7pm) Fill in account details (including USAC #) Fill out Waivers and email to amara@velodrome.org DO NOT TEST OUR SYSTEM S ABILITY TO PROCESS THINGS LAST MINUTE Get your membership first to get a $10/race discount Or just get the Season Pass (membership included) Pre-Season, TT Saturday (5/8) and Kickoff are open! Major kudos to Cory Edwards for putting together the system to make this possible!! We will combine fields or cancel if we don t have numbers Registrations can be moved to future races or refunds can be issued

RACE NIGHT RUN-THROUGH Parking in the Lot: Saturday / Sunday Parking on the Pad: Monday / Wednesday / Friday Mask on 1stStop: Check-in [before bringing in all your stuff] Temperature, Symptom, Exposure Check Vaccine / Negative Test Proof Confirm registration / waivers / etc. Must check in 20 min prior to race start (6:40pm) Set up a well-spaced out infield spot Bring a chair/blanket to use the whole infield Warmup (max 30 people on the track): On rollers limited space, need plywood/stands On your road bike on a windtrainer On your road bike out on the road just be back by 6:45! On track ONLY during designated time for your category, ~10 minutes Masked at all times (except if you re outside the track facility(fences)) Limited access to Warm Up Circle

RACE NIGHT RUN-THROUGH Staging: Call to staging on warmup circle with 5 laps to go Receive instructions on warmup circle Remove masks, place in pocket, in jersey or bib leg Begin neutral lap from warmup circle Racing this is the only part that s normal! After finish: Do not exit to warmup circle! Exit to Apron on backstretch Stop at home stretch Put mask back on Go back to your seat Miscellaneous: Bring your own water, we won t have the Water jugs or Nuun on the infield (fountains are on) No Friends & Family in the infield Distanced & Masked podiums What normally will be printed (start lists, results, programs) will be digital. Seriously, please police yourselves on masks and physical distancing. We know it will be hard but we don t want to risk getting our permit pulled by the County

  8. VOLUNTEERING NEEDS Meeting all the County/State requirements is going to take more volunteer power to pull off. If you can, please consider volunteering (or convincing friends & family to volunteer)! We are always short on volunteers and this year we need them more than ever! Please consider signing up! Remember 4 hours = 1 free race. FNR Gate tracking spectator headcount to meet requirements FNR Beer Garden (TBD) additional headcount tracking requirements!
