  1. Important Dates to Remember OCTOBER 10 OCTOBER 14 OCTOBER 20 OCTOBER 26 OCTOBER 28 NO SCHOOL COUGAR DAY REPORT CARDS GO HOME PICTURE MAKE UP DAY HALLOWEEN DANCE

  2. October 3rd/Class Objectives Make sure you have a pencil, journal, novel Today you are expected to read and complete questions for chapters 5 and 6. The audio for both chapters are available on Google Classroom. If you choose to read without audio, you have permission to listen to music while you work. Working in the hallway-is not an option, do not ask. When you are finished, please share your work with Mrs. Edwards. Do not shout out I m done! . You are in the 8th grade

  3. October 4th/Class Objectives Make sure you have a pencil, journal, novel Today you will be reviewing for tomorrow s Chapters 1-5 Exam. If you have not read up to chapter 5 this will need to be completed ASAP. If we finish early with our review today, you will continue with your reading and journal questions. Don t forget! Tomorrow is your common assessment.

  4. October 5th/Class Objectives Make sure you have a pencil, journal, novel Today you will be taking your Chapters 1-5 The Outsiders Exam. If you finish early, go to Google Classroom and work on completing Chapters 6-8 and journal entries

  5. October 6th/Class Objectives Make sure you have a pencil, journal, novel Today you will be taking two Common Assessments. Reading Common Assessment and ELA Common Assessment. If you finish early, continue working on Chapters 6-8. If you choose to read without audio, you have permission to listen to music while you work. Working in the hallway-is not an option, do not ask. When you are finished, please share your work with Mrs. Edwards. Do not shout out I m done! . You are in the 8th grade
