Candidate responsibilities Pearson.com/ptegeneral We have a letter on our website for you to share with candidates Please ask candidates to review for tips on Preparation Rules Instructions during the test Advice and help What to expect at the end of the test This should alleviate their nervousness, and help them achieve their best performance

  3. Preparation and Understanding the Rules It s good to be prepared, but don t memorise answers to be recited during the test, or prepare with the same answers as your friends this could result in you losing points or being disqualified Make sure you understand the test day rules and don t try to communicate with your friends during the test

  4. Instructions, Advice and What to expect at the end of the test Remember to follow the guidance of your invigilator they cannot help you answer questions on the test, but they can help you if you have an issue that requires immediate attention, or you need to leave the room due to illness. Make sure you leave all test materials in the room when you leave Please do not discuss test content with your friends if they haven t taken the exam yet
