  2. History Thomas Jefferson Founding father that wrote the declaration of independence All men were created equal Had one of the largest slave plantations in Virginia Abraham Lincoln Credited with freeing the slaves with Emancipation Proclamation I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality ... I will add to this that I have never seen, to my knowledge, a man, woman, or child who was in favor of producing a perfect equality, social and political, between negroes and white men. http://historynewsnetwork.org/article/153860 https://www.biography.com/news/little-known-facts-about-black-history-20730659 http://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/04/11/10-facts-thomas-jefferson-slavery-at-jeffersons-monticello-national-constitution- center/

  3. Modern Stats Why do black people always feel attacked? Why is the race card always being used? Recent trends have a historical past that are offensive or seen as Cultural Appropriation Planking Kardashian cornrows The incarceration rates disproportionately impact men of color 1 in every 15 African American men and 1 in every 36 Hispanic men are incarcerated in comparison to 1 in every 106 white men. A report by the Department of Justice found that blacks and Hispanics were approximately three times more likely to be searched during a traffic stop than white motorists. African Americans were twice as likely to be arrested and almost four times as likely to experience the use of force during encounters with the police. According to the Human Rights Watch people of color are no more likely to use or sell illegal drugs than whites, but they have higher rate of arrests. African Americans comprise 14 percent of regular drug users but are 37 percent of those arrested for drug offenses. As history would have it, black people are constantly criticized for complaining no matter which way they do it. https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/race/news/2012/03/13/11351/the-top-10-most- startling-facts-about-people-of-color-and-criminal-justice-in-the-united-states/ www.naacp.org/criminal-justice-fact-sheet/
