  1. Requests based on the Response Policy at the Yellow Stage(Warning) Areas: Entire Osaka Prefecture Period: During the Yellow Stage 1 (From September 19 to October 9 2020) Details: Based on the relevant law Calling on residents: Request: Refrain from joining (drinking) parties of a large number of people where droplets of saliva can scatter To: 1 The elderly 2 Family members who have daily contact with the elderly 3 Staff members working in elderly and medical facilities, etc. Avoid visiting places with high risk of infection When having any symptoms, be tested as soon as possible -Refrain from visiting eateries with entertainment services or offering alcohol, which don t comply with the guidelines determined for each industry (or don t have a declaration of infection prevention sticker. )

  2. Holding events (including ones hosted/co-hosted by Osaka Prefecture) To event organizers: Request to thoroughly comply with the guidelines determined for each industry and take thorough infection tracing measures such as using COCOA (the national government s contact confirming App) and Osaka COVID-19 Tracing System, and making a participant list The regulations will be eased as the attached sheet, provided the industry-specific guidelines are revised and necessary infection prevention measures are thoroughly taken When holding an event that requires traveling across the nation or an event with over 1,000 participants, consult Osaka Prefecture beforehand about the holding conditions of the event The regulations are subject to change in accordance with the national government, if the nationwide spread of infections or clusters at events occur and the national government changes the industry-specific guidelines or criteria for the capacity and number of participants It is being considered to request to refrain from holding events if appropriate infection prevention measures or risk countermeasures are not taken or prepared

Following requirements must be met for the time being, One meter enough (social/physical) distance between individuals must be secured. If it is difficult, careful judgement about holding an event or not is required. Requirements for Holding Events For more details, please refer to the national government s notification dated on September 11, 2021

  4. Facilitiesincluding ones owned by Osaka Prefecture) The following are requested to facility owners Elderly and medical facilities should ask their staff members, employees of related facilities, residents/inpatients of the facilities, and visitors from outside for taking thorough infection prevention measures When employees of elderly and medical facilities have any symptoms, encourage them to be tested. Comply with guidelines for each industry (use the declaration of the infection prevention sticker) Take infection tracing measures such as using COCOA, (the national government s contact confirming App), Osaka COVID-19 Tracing System, and making a participant list. Encourage the employees of nightlife-related facilities such as bars, clubs, cabarets, and host clubs to be tested if they have any slight symptoms Testing at interim stations in Minami area continues to be implemented.

  5. Requests to economic communities 1. Refrain from joining (drinking) parties of a large number of people where droplets of saliva can scatter 2. Thoroughly comply with guidelines of each industry 3. Promote teleworking of over 70 % of employees. Also promote rotation of shifts, staggered working hours, and bike-commuting even at the workplaces that require commuting . Let people who are in bad health stay home Have those who are in bad health or with even slight symptoms receive a PCR test In order to prevent the infection spread; Use the facilities that have a declaration of infection prevention sticker After entering the facilities, register at/use the Osaka COVID-19 Tracing System to prevent the infection spread Install and use COCOA (the national government s contact confirming App)

  6. Requests to universities, etc. 1. Students who have daily contact with the elderly should refrain from visiting places with high infection risk 2. Take thorough infection prevention measures in a dormitory, and during club or circle activities 3. Refrain from joining (drinking) parties of a large number of people where droplets of saliva can scatter 4. Refrain from visiting eateries offering alcohol and with entertainment services that don t comply with the guidelines determined for each industry (or don t have a declaration of infection prevention sticker. ) 5. Let students who are in bad health stay home. Have those who are in bad condition or who have even slight symptoms receive a test
