  1. Faith Is

  2. Faith Is But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)

  3. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 KJV) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have (John 3:16 KJV) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man,

  4. Faith Is Faith Is Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) (Heb 10:19-25) (Heb 37-38) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (Hebrews 10:37 38 KJV) (vs 37... Hab 2:3; Heb 10:25; Rev 22:20) (vs 38 Hab 2:4; Rom 1:17; Gal 3:11)

  5. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 KJV) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Revela

  6. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:4 KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:16 17 KJV) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

  7. Faith Is Faith Is Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Substance can be considered the ground or foundation that stands under a proposition Things Hope For things both temporal and eternal, but primarily those things that are eternal Cf (Rom 8:22-25)

  8. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. (Romans 8:22 25 KJV)

  9. Faith Is Faith Is Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Substance can be considered the ground or foundation that stands under a proposition Things Hope For things both temporal and eternal, but primarily those things that are eternal Cf (Rom 8:22-25) Evidence of things not seen evidence is proof of things not seen Cf Rom 1:18-20 [seen being understood] even His eternal power and Godhood!

  10. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:18 20 KJV) - to regard something as presumably true, but without particular certainty to suppose, to presume, to assume, to imagine, to believe, to think (Louw & Nida) For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; (James 1:7 NKJV) And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (John 21:25 KJV)

  11. Faith Is Faith Is Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Evidence of things not seen evidence is proof of things not seen Cf Rom 1:18-20 [seen being understood] even His eternal power and Godhood! (Jn 3:4-8) *Remember Thomas (Jn 20:26-29)

  12. Faith Is Faith Is For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:2 3 KJV) (Gen 1:1) This is our evidence of how the earth was created (Job 38-40) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (Hebrews 6:5 KJV) (Acts 17:24-31)

  13. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. (Psalms 33:6 11 KJV)

  14. Faith Is Faith Does But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV) Impossible is used 9 times un the New Testament 6 of which are in the gospels referring to marriage, the impossibility fo not having offenses, and what is impossible with men is possible with God. The remaining three times is in the Hebrew epistle impossible [adunatos-unable, i.e. weak (literally or figuratively); passively, impossible: could not do, impossible, impotent, not possible]

  15. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, (Hebrews 6:4 KJV) For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: (Hebrews 6:16 18 KJV)

  16. Faith Is Faith Does The expectation demanded by faith That He is He exists not just as has an existence. Not just a belief that there is such a being or a creator. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. (Hebrews 3:4 6 KJV) (Acts 17:22-32)

  17. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:20 24 KJV)

  18. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8 KJV)

  19. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. (Hebrews 7:19 KJV)

  20. Faith Is Faith Does The expectation demanded by faith He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? (Romans 11:34 35 KJV) No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me? Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine. (Job 41:10 11 NAS95)

  21. Faith Is Faith Does The expectation demanded by faith He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him But because God has said he rewards those who seek Him (remember the point of the Hebrew epistle) Cf (Heb 6:9-19) Diligently (2 Pet 1:5-11)

  22. Faith Is 2 Timothy 4:5-10
