  2. Zeal directed toward God Traditions (Acts 22:3, Gal. 1:14) Zeal must be tempered with Gospel knowledge (Rom. 10:1-3) Fervent Spirit to be more accurately channeled (Acts 18:25) Desire earnestly spiritual gifts edifies others ( I Cor. 12:31, I Cor. 14:1-3, 12)

  3. Young zeal for Gods Word (Lk. 2:42, 46-47, Psm. 119:10) Example of Jesus: Zeal for Holiness (Jn, 2:13- 17, Heb. 13:4, Matt. 19:3-9, Rom. 1:22-27) Zeal for filling the day with good works (Jn. 9:4) Zeal consistently aimed at pleasing God (Jn. 8:29, Jn. 17:4)

  4. How long does it take to channel fervent zeal? How long did it take Apollos to change (Acts 18:28) How long did it take Laodiceans to repent (Rev. 3:19) You can change right now and be zealous for the Word! Diligent: fervent in Spirit serving the Lord (Rom. 12:11)
