Today we are going to be learning about Buddhist Prayer Flags Image result for buddhist symbol
Re-capping Buddhism: 2,500 years a go in India a prince, called Siddhartha Gautama had all the things money could buy but he still WASN T happy inside. He went in search of inner happiness and started something called Buddhism! He said that he had discovered how to find inner happiness and his message has spread all over the world.
One of the places that it spread to is a placed called Tibet and something called Tibetan Buddhism began. Image result for tibet map
Tibetan monks and nuns they dedicate their life to Buddhism. Image result for tibetan monk Image result for current dalai lama The Dalai Lama the leader of the Tibetan Buddhists.
The Dalai Lama was forced to leave Tibet when it was taken over by the Chinese, he now lives in a place in India called Dharamsala.
