  5. 6. If you dont believe in what you are doing, no one else will either 7. You NEED to believe-call it passion, call it vision, call it power 8.But you also need contingency plans 9. Sacrifice and long hours don t really matter, RESULTS MATTER

  6. 10. Get out of your comfort zone, and do new things and encourage your teams to do so, too, because that s where creative ideas, strategic intelligence, and innovation come from 11. Listen and observe- if you can quiet your own mind and focus your eyes, usually the answers are there to be seen and heard

  8. *Confidence can be had in any situation. Imagine saying, "I don't know the answer," while looking down, thumbs twiddling, and your legs fidgeting. Now imagine saying, "I don't know the answer," with your head up, your shoulders back, and looking the speaker in the eye. Not knowing something is fine -- just be confident that you don't know it! A lack of knowledge has nothing to do with your confidence (or ability to lead). - WikiHow *Confidence is Key!

  9. *So as leaders, how do we build confidence in ourselves???

  10. Identify the problem - Figure out what makes you feel insecure or embarrassed. - Try talking to someone about it. Think of possible solutions - If it's something you can fix, think about how you can improve your situation. - If it's something that's central to who you are, focus on the positive aspects of it. - Spend some time either working on the issue or learning to accept it. Take steps in the right direction - Work hard at trying to eliminate the issue that bothers you. - Focus on another aspect of yourself that can take attention away from the negative one. Encourage yourself - Remind yourself of your many talents and abilities. - Set a goal and reward yourself for achieving it. - Find a new activity or hobby you enjoy. Stay positive - Act positive and upbeat, even when you're not. It will eventually catch on. - Stay away from negative people. - Think of and plan for the future. - Learn to accept a compliment.
