  1. Science Fair PowerPoint Presentation The following slides are the format for creating your Science Fair Project Presentation. Font and Font size must be clear and easy to read. Adjustments can be made to the slide, such as changing to columns. Please REMOVE THIS SLIDE AND ALL WRITING PROMPTS. These are the bolded and italicized words. Save your project presentation! 1

  2. Title Name PJHS

  3. Research Question How does the (IV) affect the (DV)

  4. Research Paper 3 paragraphs from the sources about your topic Copy and paste your research paper

  5. Hypothesis The hypothesis will be copy and pasted here. Remember the hypothesis is to be written in the below format: If the (IV) affects the (DV), then (prediction). This will happen because (based on scientific research).

  6. Variables The Independent Variable is IV The levels of the IV are: Level 1: ______________ Level 2: ______________ Level 3: ______________ The Dependent Variable is: DV The unit for the dependent variable is: Units (Remember metric units)

  7. Constants List the variables that were to remain the same through out the trials.

  8. Methods Materials: Copy and paste list of materials. It should be a list. Remember to include quantity and size (metric units, if applicable)

  9. Methods: Procedures 1. Copy and paste procedures here. 2. Procedures are a step by step, numbered list of how the trials were conducted. Must be repeatable. 3. Remember no personal pronouns, metric units only, and three trials for each level of the IV must be reflected in the procedures. 4. Continue procedures here, if needed. 5. Adjust font size accordingly. 6. Must be clear and easy to read.
