However, unlike coordinating conjunctions, combinations of coordinating conjunctions, not only a single word. They always come in pairs and link grammatically equivalent items. correlative conjunctions are As...as Both...and Either...or Neither...nor Not only...but also Not...but Whether...or Example: I like Ice cream as much as I like avocado juice. He does not only go shopping but also watching movie at the theatre every Sunday.
