Active Duty Death Benefits Paid by The Veterans Administration Headstone Death Payment Dependent Education Program $44,000 for spouse and each child under 26 Servicemembers Group Life Insurance Up to $400,000
Active Duty Death Benefits Paid by U.S. Coast Guard Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) Treated as if retired at 100% disability 55% of calculated retired pay 75% of High 36 Offset by Spousal VA DIC
