Background Lemont is our home, but we draw from surrounding communities and are well represented in summer elite teams. 501(c)3 nonprofit, volunteer based
Club Goals Give as many kids as possible the opportunity to reach their full potential as lacrosse players by: o Providing them with a well-run spring lacrosse program. o Providing camps and clinics in the off season. o Encouraging off season participation in programs that don t conflict with the Indians. Have a positive impact on the development of kids by using lacrosse as an opportunity to learn life lessons. Feed the high school lacrosse program with great players.
Season Summary March 16 June 5 Practices are at MPX in March, Lemont Park District Starting in April. Travel for regular season games should be typically 10 to 40 minutes. 4 home and 4 away games. Tinley Park, Orland Park, Lincoln Way, Elmhurst, etc. 2 tournaments: Washington Invitational, Peoria IL - May 14 15. o Get a hotel early! IBLA Championship Tournament June 4 - 5
Communications 90+% of communications happen through club emails + texts, and the web page. (lemontindiansyouthlacrosse.com) Web page - Practice schedule, roster, contact info, spirit wear, used equipment, photos, FAQ IBLA Web page will be used for game schedule. There will be a link on the Indians web page.
Financial $350 registration, Minis are $295. USALacrosse.org membership required through June 5, 2022 $50 off for referring a player. Please take advantage of this, especially with younger neighbors. Miscellaneous Age divisions in IBLA are by grade o 1-2 grade = Mini o 3-4 grade = Juniors o 5-6 grade = Minors o 7-8 grade = Majors o If we have more than one team at Minors or Majors, tryouts will be used to form an A and B team based on ability. Signed code of conduct required by league by 100% of players
