OUR MODEL: Our model allows and encourages all our members to play multiple sports. Yet, our strategic off-season schedule will allow our athletes to keep their sticks in their hands during the off-season and play together 25-30 times. Youth & High School Level Club Teams Youth & High School Level Club Teams CT-Sharks (Youth Level) Club Teams: CT-Sharks Youth Program comprises teams in the following grades: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. CT-Sharks is for players looking to take their game to the next level and compete against strong competition from around the Northeast and across the country. This program focuses on bringing our athletes into competitive teams and training together throughout the offseason to maximize their cohesiveness, gaining the club team repetitions needed to dominate in tournament play. The most important key of our program is to provide an opportunity for each player who truly strives to reach their full potential on the field and understand the work that goes into playing at the next level. To have success on the field, you must have fun, and when you are having fun competing in the sport of lacrosse, you will be able to reach your highest lacrosse goals. 12. COACHING STRUCTURE COACHING STRUCTURE Head Coaches: All Head Coaches will bring a vast knowledge of playing and coaching the sport of Lacrosse at the highest level. Head coaches have all undergone a specific interview process to ensure we provide our athletes with the best role models, leaders, and strategic thinking coaches in our area. Head coaches must have played Lacrosse at either the NCAA D1, D2, D3, or Club level or have equivalent experience. Once notified that you have been selected to the Tournament Team Roster, your position will be locked in for the 2023-2024 Season. Practice Team (Roster Position) Each team will have a practice roster consisting of a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 5 players. Being chosen as a practice player means that your level of play is strong enough to compete at the tournament level. Yet, due to our strict Tournament Team Roster size format, Practice Players will only attend tournaments if asked to by your Head Coach. This allows our admin team to track all questions and queries to ensure follow-up is executed.
