The District Chaplain in the Lion's Club plays a vital role in providing emotional support, delivering invocations and benedictions at functions, and conducting memorial services for deceased members. They should have empathy, a good understanding of the Bible, and the ability to comfort and connect with others in times of need. The memorial service typically includes invocations, songs, recognition of the deceased's achievements, and sharing memories, lasting around 20 to 30 minutes.
