  27. Q26: Do you wish to give examples of incidents you have experienced, specifically in the last twelve months, or comment on how violent incidents have been managed? Answered: 397 Skipped: 576 Slapped across the face. Punched repeatedly in the stomach. Anything and everything including chairs, tables, scissors, books thrown at me. Teachers and PSAs have asked the EIS rep to help them complete the SHE portal as they know that their complaint will not be taken seriously or recorded properly and on time. 28. Q26: Do you wish to give examples of incidents you have experienced, specifically in the last twelve months, or comment on how violent incidents have been managed? Answered: 397 Skipped: 576 Violent incidents are buried. Swearing and homophobic slurs are common from children and depending on the class this can be several times per day. There have been very few incidents that have resulted in consequences for the children (the occasional letter of apology or sorry ). If we asked for sanctions then management remind us that this behaviour is the child asking for help. 29. Q26: Do you wish to give examples of incidents you have experienced, specifically in the last twelve months, or comment on how violent incidents have been managed? Answered: 397 Skipped: 576 Verbal abuse often such as cunt, fuck off, fuck you, etc. is common amongst me and colleagues. No idea how to report it unless I go to EIS rep. Colleagues have been bitten, had chairs thrown at them and been punched or slapped. Screamed at, books thrown, chairs tipped over.
