Graduation sessions To be awarded a bachelor's or master's degree students may sit the final exam on set dates distributed in four sessions: 1) first session: March (spring session) 2) second session: July (summer session) 3) third session: October (extraordinary winter session) 4) fourth session: December (ordinary winter session) Students who graduate by the third session of the current academic year (2021/2022) need not pay the first installment for the next academic year.

  6. Who can be my supervisor? An MHR professor A Unimi Professor (not MHR) in this case you must: a. Havepassed his/herexam b. Ask for the approval of the President of the MHR course (silvia.gilardi@unimi.it) Supervisor What is the supervisor s role? - Guiding you through the thesis process - Burocratic and administrative issues related to graduations are not among his/her duties please refer to informa studenti in case of delays or major problem keep him/her informed

  7. How can I choose the co-supervisor? 1. Ask your supervisor first he/she can recommend you somebody depending on the topic of your work Co- supervisor 2. Ask the professor s availability to co-supervise your thesis (if via email put in copy your supervisor) You can have a co-supervisor external to the University for example:it can be your internship tutor

  8. Graduation requirements be up-to-date with fee payments up until the last year of enrolment. To graduate students must: have passed all exams in the most recent plan of studies approved fulfil the requirements and respect all the procedures and deadlines set out for each final exam session have agreed with the supervisor on the title of the thesis before applying for graduation. have uploaded online their thesis (15 days before the exam sessions)

Do not hand it in to the Student Registrar. Payment 116.00 graduation fee (including the 16.00 stamp duty) Deadlines, procedures and graduation calendars Deadlines, calendars and procedures are different depending on the degree programme. Important Deadlines Winter Session Graduation session: March 2022 Online application for graduation: from 17 January to 1 February 2022 Graduand questionnaire completion deadline: within 1 February 2022 Deadline for completing exams: within 31 January 2022 Online thesis submission: from 14 February to 2 March 2022 Students must deliver a paper copy of the final work to the Commitee on the day of the exam (only if in presence). The copy will be given back at the end of the exam. The calendar will be published indicatively on: 17 March 2022 Thesis presentation and announcement: on 24 March 2022
