SFY17 Community Readiness Assessment Mini-Grant Project Webinar #2 on February 22, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM will focus on reviewing draft problem statements, identifying challenges, and discussing next steps for conducting CRA interviews. Participants will share experiences, review colleagues' work, and work towards final draft submissions by 3/10/17. Reach out to the CRA team for support during the review and revision process.

  3. Materials for the webinar Your CRA Plan Your draft problem statement/problem of practice workbook The CRA Plans and draft problem statements of your colleagues.

  4. A Look Back: What Weve Accomplished We came together across two projects as a learning community. We learned about community readiness and the Tri-ethnic Model. We learned about creating a problem statement to focus our CRAs and created drafts. We collectively created the content for our CRA Plans.

  5. Todays Learning Objectives 1. To discuss what we have learned as we created our CRA plans and problem statements. 2. To identify and discuss challenges and concerns as we move into conducting CRA interviews. 3. To preview our next steps and upcoming learning community meeting.

  6. Discussion: Developing Your Problem of Practice What did you learn from the process of creating a draft problem statement? What was most difficult about creating a draft problem statement? What are your next steps related to revising your draft problem statements?

  7. Discussion: Developing Your Problem of Practice, continued. As you reviewed your colleagues work: What is shared or common between the drafts? What is different and how is it different? What did you learn from the review OR what do you plan to apply to your revision and final draft?

  8. Developing Your Problem of Practice: Synthesis and Next Steps Discussion Common themes Key learnings Individual and Shared Challenges Final drafts due by 3/10/17 at 5:00pm Review and revision process Reach out to the CRA wraparound team if you get stuck!

  9. Discussion: CRA Plans How did you approach planning for the CRA interviews? What adaptations did you make to the template? Why? What was most difficult about creating a plan to guide your CRA? What challenges do you have to resolve prior to starting your CRA interviews? What are your immediate next steps related to starting CRA interviews?

  15. What to Expect PowerPoint slides and a link to a recording of this webinar will be shared by COB on 2/24/17. You also will receive the TEM Interview Guide for you to customize. Your problem statement should be the only edit needed and should fit the guide. Your TA lead and/or the project lead will check in with you to offer support/TA.
