STANDING LONG JUMP
 
Task
Place a marker on the floor.
 
Stand on both legs beside the marker.
 
Jump from 2 feet as far as you can, landing on 2 feet.
 
Measure the distance from the marker to where you landed
(the back part of your foot).
 
How far can you jump?
 
Scoring:
0 – 50cm = 2 points          51 – 100cm = 5 points
 
101 – 150cm = 10 points     150+cm = 15 points

SPEED BOUNCE – 20 seconds
 
Task
Place a low hurdle on the floor to jump over– a skipping rope,
rolled up towel would be good
 
Stand on one side of the hurdle
 
Jump sideways from 2 feet to 2 feet over the hurdle.
 
Do this for 20 seconds.
 
How many jumps can you do in 20 seconds?
 
Scoring:
1 point for each successful jump.

EGG & SPOON SHUTTLE – 60 seconds
 
Task
Place 2 markers on the floor 5 metres apart.
 
Balance your egg (potato, ball, scrunched up ball of paper)
onto your spoon.
 
Run to the marker 5m away, keeping your egg balanced on
your spoon. This is 1 shuttle!
 
Keep running between the markers for 60 seconds.
 
If you drop your egg, just pick it up & carry on.
 
How many shuttles can you complete in 60 seconds?
 
Scoring:
1 point for each successful shuttle run.

Bounce your ball onto your racquet, keep the ball bouncing on
the racquet without it falling to the floor.

How many bounces can you complete in 60 seconds?
 
Scoring:
1 point for each successful bounce on your racquet.

Task
Ask an adult in your household to do this challenge with you.
 
Choose how you want to complete the challenge, you can:
      run, walk, cycle or scoot.
 
Decide on your 1km route.
 
Time how long it takes you to complete the route.
 
MAKE SURE YOUR ROUTE IS SAFE & YOU ARE WITH AN ADULT!
 
 
Scoring:
More than 15 mins = 5 points     11 – 15 mins = 10 points
 
6 – 10 mins = 15 points            0 – 5  mins = 20 mins
