  1. Energy Stores & Transfers Do now activity: What do we already know about energy stores? Discuss in pairs, write your ideas down in your books.

  3. The principle of the conservation of energy: Energy cannot be created or destroyed So what can it do? It can be stored in various ways and it can be transferred.

  6. There are five ways in which energy can be stored: C Th . K Gr . El Task: Finish the words and then match with the correct description from below! The type of energy that is stored within a moving object The type of energy that can be stored in a springy object if you stretch or squash it The type of energy that is stored in an object that has the potential to fall due to gravity This energy stores includes fuels, foods, or the chemicals found in batteries.
