Life Skills Students will be able to: Diagnose a variety of diesel powered on highway vehicle drivability issues as per current industry standards. Students will be able to: Verbalize the basic components and be able to communicate an understanding of diagnosis and parts identification of a diesel powered on highway vehicle. Analytical Skills Communication Skills Students will be able to: Demonstrate proper and effective use of current technology tooling commonly used in the industry to service and repair diesel powered on highway vehicles. Technology Skills Students will be able to: Interact effectively when working collaboratively in a shop environment with paramount cooperative learning outcomes on diesel powered on highway vehicles shop environment. Teamwork Techniques Students will be able to: Demonstrate an awareness of respectful and ethical diversity in the diesel on highway transportation industry. Program Level Assessment Plan Step 4 Program Level Assessment Plan Western Dakota Tech Program Transportation Technology Assessment Plan/Results for: Spring / Fall 2016 Submitted by: Justin Jutting Date: 7/4/2016 Intention of PLO Mapped Courses Learning Target (reference Assessment Addendum) Measurements PLO Verbalize the basic components and be able to communicate an understanding of diagnosis and parts identification of a diesel powered on highway vehicle. Diesel service students will be able to verbally discuss the diagnosis and parts identification to customers, co- workers, service writers, and service managers in regards to the vehicles they are working on. TTT-210 Under Truck Diagnosis Student Presentations 90% of the students will score 3 out of 4 minimum on the Presentation Rubric.
What to do after step 4? It is now time to perform the assessment activity Gather the Results for the assessment activities (Measurements) Document any notes from the assessment activity Perform an analysis and follow-up action Throughout the Fall the assessment coordinators will introduce the Program Level Assessment 2 and the Program Level Results 3. These two documents will incorporate the last three bullet points listed.
