K Y R ural B roadband A ssociation M em bers by the N um bers K YRB A m em bers serveall or part of 45 counties in the com m onw ealth andhave deployed approxim ately 30,500 m iles of fiber across som e of the m ostrem ote, rural areas in K entucky. A pproxim ately 217,000 rural hom es and business providedbroadbandservice throughoutrural K entucky. N early 150,000hom es and businesses have fiber-to-the-prem ises availablew ith access to gigabit service.

K YRB A M em ber Investm ent in the C om m onw ealth K YRB A m em ber com panies have invested m ore than $1.78 billion in property, plant and equipm entthroughout their operations in the C om m onw ealth. Invested m ore than $111 m illion in their fiber netw orksover the past year. Plan to investadditional$291 m illionin their fiber netw orks over the next tw o years. Serving 12,537 sm all businesses and 217 schoolsin their service territories. R esponsible for1,100direct jobs and m ore than$40 m illion inproperty, sales, payroll and telecomtaxes in the past year.
