  2. Alexander Miles was a great inventor who invented the automatic opening and closing doors This was a great way to stop having to manually open and close the doors.

  4. Alexanders hobby as an adult was being a barber. He also had no other siblings. His parents were Michael Miles and Mary Pompy.

  5. Alexander Miles Timeline Alexander Miles invented the automatic opening and closing door. Alexander Miles died in the spring of 1918. Alexander Miles was born in 1837.

  10. The saddest moment in Alexander Miles life was when his wife Candace died at the age of 71. Following her death, Alexander was very ill and died in the hospital.
