  2. Monday Veteran s Day! Put an x through Monday of this week. It will not be on the weekly quiz!

  3. Tuesday 1. Simplify the sentence by eliminating any wordiness or redundancies. There are a number of students on the waitlist who are hoping to attend the performing arts school. 2. Circle the misspelled word, and write it correctly on the line. imobile morale oasis 3. Underline and identify the figure of speech below: Love is blind and deaf. 4. What does the figure of speech mean from #3? 5. Is the following a phrase, an independent clause or a dependent clause? Screaming loudly for all to hear
