  2. Week 8 Spelling Lists Look Cover Write check your spelling words in your book. Record your list words using red for the consonants and blue for the vowels. Then complete an activity from the spelling choice board.

  4. Spelling (20 minutes) - Look Cover Say Write Check your words. Complete an activity from the Spelling Choice Board.

  5. Fruit Break/ Brain Break: Grab a piece of fruit or have a 10 minute break to go outside reset, refresh and restart.

  6. Read works and Read Theory Complete the reading passage and comprehension questions that have been provided by your class teacher in the google classroom. This should take you 40-45 minutes to complete.

  7.   13. Procedural Writing Procedural Writing The stage 3 teachers would love to learn some new games or activities, recipes and/or instructions from their students. It can be your favourite recipe, instructions to make something or steps on how to play your favourite game. Using all your newly learnt skills on procedural writing and the checklist provided, write your teacher a procedure on your favourite activity. Tick the checklist on the next slide as you complete each section. See the example on the right for what a good procedure looks like. Teacher example

  15. Handwriting/ Typing : As part of the curriculum we need to learn how to effectively type and use digital technologies. Google Typing Club and take their placement test then complete one or more of the lessons. This should take 20 -30 minutes.

Is your monologue funny, sad, angry etc? Write in the first person. ( I, My, Myself etc) Keep it short and simple. Write everything that comes to your mind and edit it after. Think about the monologues you have practiced over the past few weeks. Do some research to help you with your writing.
