Arteries Arteries are blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart.
Pulmonary Artery A T shaped artery that receives de- oxygenated blood from the right ventricle and carries it to the lungs.

Coronary Arteries (Left and Right) Arteries that carry oxygenated blood to the heart (carry oxygen and nutrients to the cardiac muscle cells).
