OUR RELATIONSHIP TO CHRIST, AND WALKING IN THE POWER OF YOUR ANOINTING 4/11/21 LIFEGATE
WHO IS OUR GOD Rev 3:20 The one who stands and knocks Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Heb 13:8 Unchanging Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Luke 19:10 Savior For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. 1 Tim 1:15 Savior Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst.
WHO IS OUR GOD Psalm 145:13 Faithful The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. Rev 1:8 He is everlasting I am the Alpha and Omega, the one who is and who was and is to come, the Almighty John 16:33 Overcomer I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
WHO IS OUR GOD Rev 1:18 He is alive! I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. Acts 4:12 No other Name Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. 1 Cor 7:23 He paid your debt You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings.
WHO ARE WE? OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST 1 Peter 2:9 NIV: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Galatians 4:5 NLT: "God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. Ephesians 1:5 NLT: "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST John 17:18-26 NIV: Jesus Prays for All Believers 20 My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one 23 I in them and you in me so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST Romans 8: 15-17 15The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God s children.17Now if we are children, then we are heirs heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Matthew 7:8-10 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! [Luke 11:13 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! ]
