  2. History of Leadership Leadership studies in the early part of the 20th century focused on what has been referred to as Great Man and trait theories .

  3. What is Leadership? According to Keith Davis, Leadership is the ability to persuade others to seek defined objectives enthusiastically. It is the human factor which binds a group together and motivates it towards goals.

  4. Leadership vs. Management Management Leadership Leadership is setting a new direction or vision for a group that they follow, i.e.: a leader is the spearhead for that new direction.
