MARCH 6, 2018 TAC SUBCOMMITTEE RESTRUCTURING TASK FORCE (TSRTF) Jim Lee
COPS CHANGES On Feb 7th, COPS considered the TSRTF recommendations: Market Data WG (MDWG) COPS to make inactive Market Data Transparency SLA would move under TDTMS. Retail specific reports & extracts to move under TDTMS. Other market data questions/issues are to be managed through the respective subcommittee Profiling WG (PWG) RMS to inherit & make inactive Settlement Stability, Annual Validation, UFE, and Weather Sensitivity reports to move under RMS. Communications & Settlement WG (CSWG) COPS to make inactive Settlement discussion items & topics will move under WMS (whether standalone WG or combine with existing WMS WG is to be determined by WMS) Specialized market communication processes will be inherited by the respective subcommittees (Retail goes to RMS, Wholesale goes to WMS, etc.) 2
RMS CHANGES On Feb 6th, RMS discussed the TSRTF recommendations: AMWG RMS voted to move AMWG to inactive AMWG reporting to move under PUCT Project #47472 SMT communications to move to RMS (or SMT) listserv TDTMS RMS recommends keeping MarkeTrak under TDTMS Would inherit Market Data Transparency SLA ownership from MDWG/COPS Would own retail specific report & extract issues previously considered at MDWG RMTTF RMS to sunset TF once training modules in queue are completed TX SET no changes, status quo RMS absorption of other COPS responsibilities: RMS to transfer Retail specific market communication processes from COPMG to RMG. (CSWG) RMS to inherit and de-activate the Profiling WG -- Settlement Stability, Annual Validation, UFE, and Weather Sensitivity reports reviewed by PWG would move under RMS. As a general practice each month, RMS Working Group leadership actively evaluates the next month s agenda to determine the need for full-day, half-day, joint meeting, or no meeting in order to maximize meeting efficiency. 3
TAC RESTRUCTURING TF CHANGES: On March 5th, the TSRTF made the following changes impacting RMS & COPS: Modified the RMS Procedures & TAC Procedures No modifications to the WMS Procedures Changed the following within the COPMG: LPG Section 4, The Profiling Working Group (delete in entirety - LPGRR) COPMG Section 11, Disputes and Data Extract Variances (remove DEV language - COPMGRR) COPMG Section 5, Market Notice Communication Process (move to RMG COPMGRR/RMGRR) COPMG Section 12, Renewable Energy Credits (move to RMG COPMGRR/RMGRR) Remainder of COPMG will be under WMS Purview Agreed that WMS would inherit Settlements Working Group and allow WMS to modify the Other Binding Documents associated with SWG. 4
