Email Etiquette
When emailing an instructor, keep these tips in mind
Use the subject line to identify yourself and your class
(Jill Student STSC 0111 online)
Think of your audience—use a formal greeting, formal
language, and signature
Think about presentation—don’t use all caps, overuse
punctuation(!!!), and spell check
Instructors are like work supervisors—they give you
tasks to complete and presentations to watch; some
you like and some you don’t; but you have to show
courtesy and professionalism to all ☺
