  3. Tackling Household Affordable Warmth - THAW Orkney Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). Established in 2014. THAW Orkney s purposes are: To relieve poverty by promoting the efficient use of energy (including energy for heating purposes) among the elderly, or whose housing conditions are unsatisfactory To advance public education about all aspects of energy conservation and the efficient use of energy. To relieve poverty through the co-ordination, delivery, and support of projects and services which address fuel poverty and its associated conditions and symptoms.

  4. This evening A talk in three parts: 1. What is a Just Transition? 2. OREF s perspective on its contribution. 3. THAW s perspective on its contribution.

Just Transition For the Scottish Government a just transition is both the outcome a fairer, greener future for all and the process that must be undertaken in partnership with those impacted by the transition to net zero. It supports a net zero and climate resilient economy in a way that delivers fairness and tackles inequality and injustice. Just Transition Commission - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)
