Merlin the Magician, also known as Myddrin, is a legendary figure considered the greatest wizard and prophet of all time. *Conceived offspring of a virgin nun and a supernatural monk *Considered the greatest wizard and prophet of all time. *Immortal but had mortal feelings and failings. *Half demon half saint. *Shape shifter. *Wise. *Physical & Personality Traits
*The creator of the Round Table. *Was the architect and protector of Camelot. *He was a shape shifter and enchanter who could fly, become invisible, conjure monsters and command phantom armies. *Communed with supernatural spirits of the woods, mountains and lakes. *His role was King Arthur s chief counselor and strategist in all matters, from love to war. *Also a protector of King Arthur and his father Uther Pendragon. *Specific Actions & Roles
*Helped King Aurelius bless the memory of the martyrs of Briton. *Had to get the Giant s Ring which is on a Mountain Killaraus. *Only way he would help is if the Britons get the ring. *The rocks were made by giants (impossible for humans to move). *Britons tried to move the rock but failed, Merlin felt bad and moved it for them. *Merlin then created the memorial. *Merlin and the Giant s Ring
*Helped King Uther Pendragon obtain his love Igraine. *Igraine was the wife of the Duke of Cornwall. *King Uther Pendragon fell in love with her at first sight. *Duke fled with her to Tintagel (Duke s strongest castle). *They then received there son Arthur. *The Birth of Arthur
*Merlin lives in the woods of Briton. *Merlin s present-day character is Houdini because he was said to be immortal and a magician. *Houdini was also said to be the greatest magician of his time just like Merlin.
