Lays the groundwork for a more substantive TMG effort in 2015-16. 4. An on-going activity as time permits. Will continue into 2015-16 as needed. GTAModel V4.0 All core modules programmed Working on fixing broken-looped transit lines in the network Waiting on the completion of new network for further validation Currently organizing the work for a new population synthesis procedure 4
Documentation Detailed documentation of TMG.Estimation has been added to XTMF s documentation V4.0 Model Design document has been updated with all of the latest changes to the model system A user guide will be produced in during the SmartTrack with complete workflow information 5

Ongoing V4 development & Testing Additional validation modules in development Validate population synthesis in depth 8
Transit Assignment Tasks Congested Transit Assignment is operating well We might recalibrate parameters once the loops have been fixed 9
Road Networks & Assignment A preliminary tool for multiclass road assignment has been developed Currently being used for testing freight and HOV research models 10
Freight Modelling 2001 calibrated model running in XTMF Working with Roorda to improve the model 11
Active Transportation Nothing concrete yet Students are still working on this 12
Future Year Base Networks Using the SmartTrack project as a proving ground for future year network combining Lessons learned, and possibly code, will be later used for developing the full system 13
TMG Toolbox Improvements Now distributed together with XTMF Retrofitted GTAModel V2, and V2.5 with parallel transit assignment Improved the names/namespaces of tools to properly match their file names Created batch files to automatically generate toolboxes from source code Also can build a consolidated toolbox All source is available at https://github.com/TravelModellingGroup/TMGToolbox 14
Outreach & Training Python Workshop Setup IBI, HDR, and PB with XTMF HDR used XTMF to calibrate Durham Region Model IBI is using XTMF to run Durham Region Model PB is considering using XTMF for future work 15
