Survey Findings on Residential Needs and Options in Prosper Fingal Family Forum
A survey conducted in Prosper Fingal Family Forum in February 2016 revealed key insights on residential needs and options for families in crisis situations and individuals with disabilities. With a focus on raising awareness and lobbying for funding, the survey identified immediate residential care needs and outlined characteristics of families requiring urgent attention. Key findings highlighted the challenges in transitioning from care institutions to community living, emphasizing the importance of sustainable support systems and new environments. The survey response from 164 participants out of a possible total of 270 indicated a 60% engagement rate, with service locations across various areas showing differing levels of support. These findings will inform future strategies and actions to address the housing crisis and provide necessary residential support.
