  1. Week of OCT 4 TO 7 Workbooks are our textbooks. Workbooks are passed out to each individual student and are also available on line at the Launchpad app. See directions on my WAG page and ask your student (they know how)

  2. LEARNING TARGETS 1. Student can answer 10 questions on Chapter 14 Skeletal system, muscular system, and skin 2.. Student will understand WHAT LIFE IS? Cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, organism (First 9 weeks goal)

  3. I INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITES MONDAY- OPEN- quiz 5 questions from test Students will copy and answer from board WORK- Reteach workbook muscular and skin Brain Pop quizzes and practice for test on laptops CLOSE - WHAT ARE YOUR QUESTIONS FOR THE TEST HOMEWORK- STUDY FOR TEST GRADE ON 4 Oct

  4. TUESDAY OPEN CK STUDENTS have all resources for test--- Go over questions on test WORK 1. Assign Chapter 16 from workbook (Respiration and Circulation) 2. Take 15 question test using all student resources 3. do first 10 pages of workbook CLOSE- preview the 10 pages HOMEWORK complete 10 pages

  5. WEDNESDAY OPEN What is our new unit about ? Write 10 facts WORK individual work read and complete workbook Chap 16 CLOSE- Parents check for 15 pages complete in Chapter 16 workbook HOMEWORK PARENTS CHECK PROGRESS AND SIGN WB

  6. THURSDAY LAPTOPS FROM VERIZON WILL BE USED IN CLASS FOR ONLINE LEARNING ACTIVITY Parents may preview at Generation Genius web page OPEN pretest on Todays LAB activity (worksheet from Generation Genius) WORK Notetaking on 7 vocabulary works from todays activity View 15 minute lesson on CELLULAR RESPIRATION AND PHOTOSYNTHISIS then check their work on the pretest Class checks their own work with Teacher Students test their knowledge in KAHOOT ACTIVITY WITH cell phones on the web. CLOSE- Student completes the EXIT questions for todays video and KEEP IN SCIENCE NOTEBOOK

  7. FRIDAY SCHOOL HOLIDAY - HAVE A GREAT DAY OFF

  8. ASSESSMENTS/RUBRICS Chapter 14 Formative test skeletal system, muscles, and skin Workbook Chapter 16 Lessons 1,2,3 should be complete. Parents please check

  9. Resources for Parents and Students You may have to create a user name one time for these programs. You will only have to do this once. All are free websites and I use in the classroom.
