  1. Rock 101 Academic Program for Student-Athletes Coach Shannon Kuhl & Eric Rollings

  2. Rock 101 Policies D or F = Enrolled in Rock 101 Being in Rock 101 = attending an RTI session everyday per course w/ a D or F

  3. Rock 101 Policies To exit out of Rock 101 . 1. No missing assignments AND 2. No longer have a D or F

  4. Rock 101 Policies cont Student-athlete is ineligible if 1. Grade is an F, OR 2. Not attending sessions Can still be eligible w/ one F, if 1. Attending all sessions, AND 2. Making up one assignment per day per course w/ a D or F

  5. Rock 101 Policies cont Automatically ineligible if . 1. Failing 2 or more classes 2. Not attending sessions

  6. Rock 101 Policies cont Deadline for meeting requirements/Notification of Ineligibility oEnd of RTI on Thursday for sports playing 1 game per week - Athlete would be ineligible for Thursday/Friday game oEnd of RTI on Wednesday for sports playing 2 games per week - Athlete would be ineligible for Friday and potentially Tuesday

  7. Rock 101 Procedures Requirements are expected to be met through use of RTI time Student-athletes will scan into Rock 101 room All cell phones will be put up after scanning in

  8. Rock 101 Procedures cont Identify, work on, and complete missing assignments Turn completed assignments into a tray when finished Completed assignments will be delivered to teachers during 3rd/4thblock by Coach Kuhl and Coach Rollings

  9. Needs Scanners for student-athletes to scan in Plasco Tract Admin Access to atheltes grades Shoe holders for cell phones No advisory or duty 3rdor 4thblock planning Paper & pencil supply for Rock 101 room

  10. Needs Math, Science, English, and Social Studies teachers to help students in each subject for each RTI Volunteer teachers or assign teachers one Rock 101 duty each week Recognition/benefits to teachers wanting to work w/ Rock 101 student-athletes
