Expectations Players of all levels and abilities are welcome in RCLL We focus on fundamentals, working with players from the ground up, and getting kids excited about playing games in a fun and positive learning environment We play baseball to emphasize self-esteem, confidence, and teamwork Our goal is for kids to want to play baseball next year! Good sportsmanship is critical for everyone: players/coaches/parents Respect the umpires - A-minor can have kids as young as 13. RCLL can t run without the support and volunteerism of our families! Our volunteer-run board, coaches, team parents, and the dibs shifts our families work make the league possible we thank you for your support!

  5. Player Eligibility Requirements Any player can play in the regular season regardless of school or home location. But (if selected) to be eligible for All-Star postseason play (10, 11, and 12yo District 1 tournaments): Home OR school must be within RCLL boundaries Fill out school enrollment form (easiest) - Recommended to fill out right away before school is out (ANY AGE LEVEL INCLUDING ROOKIES). Only needs to be done once unless switched schools or moved. Home (provide proof of residency and other forms) Moved, but home or school were previously within RCLL boundaries? Fill out regulation II(d) form - Do this right away! Neither Home or School is within RCLL boundaries (Applies to all age levels to be done right away) Request an Out of Boundary waiver from RCLL President Must be approved by league President from which home or school is within their boundaries Must be approved by District 1 Administrator Must be approved by Little League International If approved result will be full eligibility or red shirt eligibility (current year not eligible, following years full eligibility) Link to RCLL Boundaries: https://bit.ly/40OnRWi

Practices & Games Schedule Game schedules TBA - Everyone plays on the Saturdays of Opening Day (Saturday, May 6th) AND Super Saturday (Saturday, June 17) Practice Schedules determined by head coach - to communicate weekly or sooner Rookies - Tues/Thur practice or game (45-60 minutes) B-Minor - typically 3 days each week practice or game (1 hr 15 min) A-Minor - typically 3-4 days each week practice or game (1hr 30min) Majors - typically 3-4 days each week practice or game (1hr 45min)

  9. Team Parent Duties Include: 1. Managing kids in dugout for Rookie and B-Minor. Only if needed in A-Minor. (there will be a meeting to give you tips on how to do this efficiently) 2. Type a Roster Card to hand out to parents. This should include players name, jersey number, coaches names and parents names for each child. 3. Bring your team to Concession Stand after every home game for treats. 4. Super Saturday: Decorate Dugout, Collect Money from other Parents to make a raffle basket with another team parent. You will earn 1 dibs shift credit for this. You will be given more information on all of these duties once you volunteer for this.

  11. DIBS (Volunteer Hours) WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS: RCLL is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteer parents, coaches, and an all-volunteer League board. As a volunteer organization, we need the help of the RCLL community to support the organization and our players. This includes leveraging a Dibs volunteer system to cover various shifts during our season. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. If you know now that you will NOT be completing your volunteer hours and want your $350 check cashed, PLEASE tell Alli Hankey (volunteer coordinator) ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

  12. DIBS (Volunteer Hours) Volunteer Requirements 1 Child = 6 shift minimum (about 12 hours total) 2 Children = 8 shift minimum (about 16 hours total) 3+ Children = 9 shift minimum (about 18 hours total) NEW THIS YEAR ..You must save 3 shifts for post-season. RCLL is hosting 3 tournaments this year- there will be plenty of shifts then. HIRE A TEEN .There will be a list of teens you can get to do your shifts if you choose to pay them. $20 / Dib Shift 2 DAY NOTICE REQUIRED If you claim a shift you must work it, pay a teen to work or cancel 2 days prior.

  15. Fundraising Discount Cards Cards were distributed at evaluations. If you haven t received yours, please bring a check/cash ($100) to the Team Meeting Night (Thur, 4/6) at the Crystal Community Center. Money needs to be collected in order to receive your players uniform.
