Leavers Memories

It’s that time of year when we begin to reflect on all the
amazing memories you have created during your time at
William Martin School.
We are so sad to see you leave , but we are also really looking
forward to hearing which memories stand out to you the most!
When you have written up your memories , please ask an adult
to film you reading your favourite memory
( NO MORE THAN 30
SECONDS)
and we will put this together into a leavers service
for you and your families to enjoy.

Mind Map your ideas!

To help you organise your memories , start by creating a mind map for each year group.
Here is an example one for Year 6:

Year Six

Miss.Campbell/
Mrs.Cleary

Outdoor
Pursuit
Centre

Falling out
of a Kayak!

Barbican Box

Becoming secret
agents

Create a mind map for each Year group
you have been in

Start with Reception , then work your way up through all
the year groups detailing which memories stand out in
your mind.
Once you have done that , put your memories into a short
paragraph of writing. Once you have written your
memories from each year group ,chose which year group
your favourite memory is from and ask an adult to film you
reading your memory. These videos will then need to be
emailed to your class email.

An example:

I remember fondly my time as a Year 6 teacher. I was
lucky enough to spend time with 60 amazing children who
certainly have made an impact on my life. The classes in
Year 6 were Windsor and Escher Class. I remember when I
took my class out to play a lovely game of rounders , not
realising I was going to become the target for some of
their hits! We all managed to see the funny side ,even if I
did end up with lots of colourful bruises!!!
