  4. Our Teachers.. #2020 Year 6, I just wanted to say what a huge privilege it has been to teach such a fantastic group of children. It hasn t been the year that we planned but in spite of this you are leaving me with fantastic memories of all of you. I have been so impressed by your enthusiasm, your eagerness to learn and the progress you have made. You have made me smile and laugh so many times with your kindness and your humour. You really are an amazing group of children and I will miss you all so much. I send you my very best wishes for your journey through secondary school and beyond. Keep working hard, stay kind, stay happy and be determined to achieve everything you are capable of. I m so proud of you The very best of luck to our lovely class of 2020! With love from Mrs Southern

  5. Our Teachers.. #2020 To my amazing year 6 class of 2020...This year has certainly been one to remember hasn't it!! I'm so so sad that I didn't get to spend all year with all of you and do all the things we were looking forward to doing , however I still feel very lucky as you are such a fantastic class and I will really miss you all. You made me laugh and smile every single day and I will always remember the hilarious dramas and presentations that you did, the beautiful art work and the fun games we played together- teaching you to play scrabble and it turning into a massive class competition was so funny, and you all trying to build the biggest jenga towers possible! We read some super books together like when Hitler stole pink rabbit and the boy at the back of the class (which I still need to finish!) and I will always have so many happy memories of you all. I hope you are all taking care and excited to go to your new schools. Remember that you can be whatever you set your heart on; believe in yourself and work hard and you can achieve your dreams. I miss you all and hope you come back and see me soon when it's safe. Loads of love Miss McMenamin xx

We are wishing you all the best for the future, we wish you all the success and happiness in the world. You have blessed us all with great moments and memories, it s sad to see you leave under the current circumstances but it s good to know you re all prepared for the next phase of your life. A happy farewell to you all and thank you! With love from Mr Hurst

  7. Memories written by Year 6. A happy memory was when we had pirate day, we dressed up as pirates, we played lots of pirate games and at the end of the day we received a pirate goody bag. Another good memory was when my year1 class visited a safari park. It was amazing watching lions relaxing and eating in the sunshine and seals performing fantastic and acrobatic tricks in a thrilling show. These are my most exciting memories of sssj. I'm looking forward to reading the leaver's book. Mohsin Rizwan It is time to say "goodbye" to all my school friends. I have some really good memories that I will be leaving with. My time in Robinwood has been the best, interacting with all my friends. I will miss you all. Aayan Khan My best memories are seeing my teachers every day and making new friends. I had fun at school. Ellie Fletcher

  8. Memories written by Year 6. I really miss going to school and definitely miss my friends. Here are a few of the things I will never forget. I really miss Mrs Southern and the way she used to teach us our English lessons. She was one of my favourite teachers and I m definitely going to remember everything I ve learnt with her. I also wish I could go to Robinwood again with my friends because I really enjoyed all the different activities we could do and spending time with my best friends. I m also going to miss the fields and the park that we had because I could always go and run around and laugh. But mostly I m going to miss all my friends and teachers and all the amazing trips we went on together. Haleema Akbar I enjoyed getting up every morning to come to school to see all my friends and see the teachers. I always tried my best to learn. Shannon Holt

  9. Memories written by Year 6. A special memory I have is when we went to Robin Wood and how much fun we had. I have a vivid memory of the weekend we spent their and how me and all my friends had spent the whole time together laughing and just having the time of our lives with each other and our leader. I had the best time and I wish I could relive it all over again. I also really enjoyed when we went to the recycling centre and how we did lots of activities around recycling and how we got a tour of the place and we played games about how to recycle properly. We also made bags out of old materials and we got to take them home with us when we got back to school. It was a really interesting day where we got to see how recycling went on a journey after we put it in a bin. Another memory I have about my time at sssj is when we went to Knowsley safari Park in reception and how we got to see all the different animals and learn about them throughout the day and see how they lived in the safari. Then in year 3 we went to Blackpool zoo and I expanded on my learning about all the animals I saw back when I was 5 and had gone on the trip to the safari. Aimee Gaskell I enjoyed the robin wood because I could use my skills and use them in activities I have never done before. Nikhil Salvi I really enjoyed my trip to Robinwood it was lots of fun especially the big swing! Making lots of friends & being an ambassador in year 6. Katelyn Roberts

  10. Memories written by Year 6. I came to SS&J School when I was in year 2. I was nervous and not wanting to leave my old friends. But I was greeted with friendly faces and I made nice new friends that helped me. I enjoyed my time in primary school and will miss my friends and teachers. The teachers are amazing in school and there is always someone there to help us. Only if we could go back 1 year and finish the year without end of year party and to meet all my friends and teachers who have helped us through the years. Ibby Khan Thank you for being caring and don t take this school for granted because you will have good memories at the end of year 6. Mercy Okunade I m going to miss the teachers and the class room where we learn together. I will miss all my friends when we go to a different school, especially when we go swimming all together and our fun trips. Rehan Ahmed

  11. Memories written by Year 6. I remember going to Robin Wood. I will really miss all of year 6 and the head teacher Miss Jones and all of my friends I made here. Libby Kershaw. During my time at SSSJ I have had a lot of great memories for example when I went to robin wood I did some really amazing activities such as canoeing, rock climbing and my favourite activity was abseiling, in addition to this in year 5 1 of my favourite activities was going swimming with my friends. I also enjoyed sports day activities in year 5. My best memories was winning the cricket competition in year 6, which was a proud moment for me. I have made very good friends from this school, which I will keep in touch with when we leave. My teachers and teaching assistant have really been kind and helpful and guiding us to strive harder all the time. Eshaan Patel

  14. Final words from Miss Jones The time has come to say my final goodbye to our Year 6 children. We have shared so many special memories throughout your time at SSSJ and although this final goodbye is sad and emotional; it is a time for joy and celebration as we reflect on the journey of our children while at primary school and to also look forward towards the journey that they are all about to embark upon as they move into their new secondary schools. Our Year 6 children have been outstanding; not just in their academic achievements but in the progress they have demonstrated around our core values. They are a credit to themselves, their families and our school and I would like to wish each of them every success in the future. With love from Miss Jones
