  5. Justice Involved 34,000 actively Justice- Involved individuals 42,000 formerly incarcerated working-age adults ________ 76,000 Justice-Involved & formerly incarcerated individuals (9% of county s population)

  6. Planning Process 91 individuals representing 51 organizations were consulted and engaged during the 4 month P2E Regional Plan creation.

  8. Strengths in Planning Ventura County Reentry Council (5 year Partnership started with AB-109: VC Sheriff VC Probation Agency State Parole AJCC & STEPS (AB109) Program Many CBOs: Sober Living Consortium, Interface CFS, Goodwill Industries, Salvation Army, and several others

  9. Challenges in Planning Reentry Council needs formal recognition at county level and needs funding to facilitate continued collaboration and expansion of mission ..yet they meet bi- monthly in collaboration to serve Justice Involved! Not enough Employers at the P2E planning process Not enough sustained funding for Justice Involved services
