INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION

Praise simply means showing gratitude to
God for His faithfulness while Prayer means
communicating with God.
Divine help is the help that comes from God
only. It is a help that is beyond human
strength and human understanding. It is
miraculous and mysterious.
Every true friend of Jesus is called to pray
and praise God at all times, especially the
one that comes from a humble heart.
David had beautiful habit of praising God for
His faithfulness and love towards him. He
praised the Lord with harps, psaltery and
other musical instruments.

The Psalms under consideration are known as the Psalms of David.
They are prayers he made to God while in distress.
He realised that most of his troubles were as a result of his sins.
Therefore, he prayed earnestly for God’s pardon, cleansing and
deliverance.
God heard him and answered him. God still answers prayers today,
especially prayers offered from a repentant and sincere heart.
We are called to pray without ceasing. This means we must
cultivate the attitude of praying at all times.
